Idea
How about having forums for pychiatrists, pychologist, nurses and other mentle health worker to chat with patients completley annonmously. We would all like to say a few things to them annonmously outside thepay (good and bad) where we won't get into trouble and would be good to share how we actually feel about things with those in the profession without the threat of having our treatment affected. At the end of the day we just want to improve services from a users view for the help of ourslevs and others. (I have had mixed experiences) those working in services may also like to annoymously voice their opinions. (rooms for improvement etc). Just an idea. I have met many a nurse and pychologist who had views they wanted to speak but were afriad to speak out.
This would be hopefully done in a constructive but personally felt mannor and maybe if it becomes a big thing people in the NHS will read it and learn a few things!! When something bad happens how many of us have the enegry to fight the system and make a formal complant. It all about imporving services to help those in suffering and distress at the end of the day. We all want to rant and rave when we have been mistreated but this woudl be a good place to constructvely discuss these issues with those working in the services. The good points (what we found helpful in NHS woudl also be discussed as much as the things that did not help us, our treatment that we were / are not happy with)
Sorry if this is wrong place to post
